Maryville now owns the bookends to Alcoa's win streak.
The Rebels, the last team to beat Alcoa before it went-on a 44-game win streak, beat the Tornadoes Saturday night 26-19 in a battle of defending state champs that are located just 10-miles apart.
Maryville took a 20-6 lead into the fourth quarter before Alcoa was able to mount a comeback, closing to within a touchdown with 2:59 to go.
