Lights, Cameras, Thursday Night Football Action in Tennessee

Thanks to sponsorship from State Farm Insurance, Volunteer state high school football fans will get to watch eleven Thursday night football games on TV. The games, which will showcase several state powers, will air on MyVLT2. Heading the list is 4A power Maryville, which saw its state record 74-game win streak snapped while going for its 5th straight title last season, playing twice on TV.

Here's the State Farm Rivalry schedule:

Aug. 27—Lenoir City at Loudon
Sept. 3—Catholic at Farragut
Sept. 10—Alcoa at Fulton
Sept. 17—Greenback at Harriman
Sept. 24—Oak Ridge at Maryville
Oct. 1—Seymour at Sevier County
Oct. 8—Maryville at Catholic
Oct. 15—Morristown West at Jefferson County
Oct. 22—Bearden at West
Oct. 29—Anderson County at Clinton
