Jackson Christian School Begins Search for New Football Coach

Brian Stewart has announced his resigning as head football coach at Jackson Christian School.

The Jackson Sun reports that Stewart, who was 30-19 in four years at JCS, is leaving to become the offensive line coach at Harding University.

There was no recession when it came to the Tennessee high school football playoffs this past season. The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association is reporting a 62-percent revenue increase over 2008.

The Tennessean is reporting that the increase doesn't include revenue from the BlueCross Bowl championship games.
